So I was a bit skeptical dining at a place called the "Garage"..but, after all this is NYC, so anything goes. A jazz brunch sounded like great fun and it was. Located in the West Village on 7th Ave South and corner of West 4th St, we felt as if we found a little hidden oasis amid the bustle of village life. Dimly lit, the first things see are the bar and the live band. All of us had a pretty hard time deciding what to order, everything sounded so good. I finally settled on the Grilled Tuna Burger and was very happy with my choice. The price is reasonable $15.95 which comes with choice of screwdriver, mimosa or bloody mary, for an extra $6 unlimited drinks with a 1 hr time limit. I was a bit concerned about this time limit, esp since our waitress kept disappearing for 15-20 min at a time BUT, they were not strict at all with the time. We went over by 30-45 min. The service was decent, the drinks were good and the food was even better. I'd definitely recommend this place.
