The day starts out great, I go get my hair cut and thinking about what to wear. We made reservations for 1:45pm at Paradou. A French restaurant in the heart of the meat packing district right on Little 12th street. They have specials for Brunch Sat and Suns which includes unlimited champagne cocktails. So, I'm running late, but looking divine with my JS black stiletto pumps, skinny Joe Jeans, white babydoll blouse and a red wool Jacket. Now it's 2pm as I surface out the train station I called Carolyn, she was waiting for both Trish and I. I figured if I walked down 12th St I would run into 9th ave, WRONG. I ended up having to back track after reaching the water. A gentleman told me which direction to go where I would run into Little 12th street which is where the highline begins. I see the ladies and greet each other with tons of hugs and kisses and proceed inside. One inside the music was divine, reminding me of my younger days when my mother would play French or Haitian music in the house. Our waitress confirms that we are all there and leads the way to our table where we were to be seated. Immediately Carolyn and I run to the restroom leaving Trish with our things.
Our waiter was cute. Tricia and Carolyn ordered a Bellini for me. Gee Wizz I didn't know what I felt like eating, so our cutie pie French waiter Damien comes over and he made an excellent recommendation for me. We took tons of pictures, he helps us out with the pics too. The whole atmosphere was fun and loving. everyone was laughing and smile, chit chatting all around. The unlimited champagne cocktails never seemed to end.
I would definitely recommend this place. The price is just right!
